Dual Magazine archive, 1983-1985

Published by Takara, this quarterly magazine was named for its dual coverage of anime and modeling. It ran for 12 issues, generating unique and imaginative content on Dougram, Votoms, Giant Gorg, and Galient. It was the birthplace of the expanded Votoms universe, fleshing out background and unseen mecha, and serving as the launch pad for Blue Knight Berserga. Most of the material was never reprinted elsewhere, so this body of work serves as a one-of-a-kind Votoms archive.

All the Votoms content from each issue will be presented here issue by issue with translations where needed.

Thanks for these scans! Can’t wait for the Blue Knight stuff! What’s the origin for the various names of the early ATs (Clever Camel, Crueldog, Blocker, Frogger, and so on)? I know several later sources have the names but what was the first? I always assumed they came from Dual Magazine.
