Kummen manga, version 1.0
Minoru Nonaka’s adaptation of the Kummen arc ran for three issues of Comic BomBom with a total of 93 pages. The first chapter appeared two weeks after the first Kummen episode was broadcast, and the last appeared a month before the Sunsa arc began. Votoms was joined by two more anime adaptations when Vifam and Giant Gorg made their debut in the October issue.
Paperback editions
Kodansha’s paperback for the Kummen arc was published December 18, 1983. Like the Woodo edition, it was expanded and revised with an additional 94 pages.
Sunrise Super Robot Series edition
This reprint was published May 10, 1999 by Daitosha. Minoru Nonaka actually removed one page from the Kummen arc when he revised it for the reprint. Volume 1 of this edition combined the Woodo and Kummen arcs into a single book.
