Takuhito Kusanagi art gallery
This artist’s name is not well-known outside Japan, but he’s got style for miles and it was on full display when he undertook his first two Votoms projects in 1987. His career expanded from there with character, mecha, and concept design for numerous anime productions. He continues today as a respected painter and illustrator.
Here’s his name in Japanese for search purposes: 草薙琢仁

“Illustrations for Blue Knight Berserga book (Hobby Japan, 1987)”
I thought all of these (except the Hell Missionel one that says ‘Illustration: Tak. Kusanagi’) were by Hiroyuki Hataike AKA Takehiko Ito.
I thought so too, but the research I did for Blue Knight revealed that three different artists contributed at different stages of the project. It then became a matter of comparing their styles and making educated guesses.
