Spinoff books, 1981-1983

Every publisher of anime magazines branched out into book publishing during these boom years, bringing their own editorial and design style to several of the same subjects. These publishers were creating other books (Akita Shoten in particular invested heavily in film comics) and many other publishers were jumping on the anime band wagon at the time, but this list is limited to those that carried the same branding as the magazines.

In addition to Gundam Century, the company also launched a series titled OUT Anime Parody Comics, shortened in issue 2 to Aniparo Comics. Such comics had long been a staple of OUT magazine, and now they had their own title released twice a year.
