Explanatory notes

While A.T.s were deployed on all kinds of battlefields, it’s not widely known that they were sometimes even used for assassination missions. Equipped with long-barreled, high-powered weapons and advanced sensors, A.T.s could eliminate targets, for example, those inside armored vehicles, from extremely long range.

Moreover, assassination A.T.s were sometimes even expected to have a show of force, demonstrating their attacks to enemy civilians and soldiers. They were brought into Villa City on the planet Tokin in parts. This rare machine, which was assembled in secret, is a prime example of that.

While similar A.T.s are typically abandoned at the scene, this particular unit is expected to escape under the watchful eyes of the public after eliminating its target (demonstrating the superiority of the Gilgameth Army), and therefore its speed has been drastically improved. on the other hand, armor other than the vital parts, operating time, and communication functions have all been sacrificed, making it virtually unsuitable for normal combat.
