This book rounds up their cutting-edge design work for not just anime titles, but relevant merchandising and a few western productions as well. A fantastic and colorful time capsule of a flashpoint in anime history.

Color and B&W, 112 pages
Hobby Japan Press, April 2020
If you fell into anime in the 1980s, Hobby Japan Vintage is made to be seen by YOU. Each issue picks a specific thread from that time and plucks it for all it’s worth. In this volume, the topic was Artmic projects from the 80s and how they were interpreted in model kits. As you can see, Mospeada is front and center. Imai models get most of the attention, but there are also a couple pages on Genesis Breaker.
