Eriald Hunter, a young officer in the Earth Federation Forces, is assigned to the Titans, a team he has longed to join. While testing new mobile suits, he takes on various missions and battles, and grows as a pilot. In the Battle for the Colony Laser, Eriald’s heavily-damaged ship is taken to the cruiser Aswan. There, he receives a special order from Captain Pedersen. This is the final phase of the Battle of the Gryps (as seen in Zeta Gundam). Eriald throws himself into the fierce battle.

However, what awaits Eriald afterward is a new battle: a military tribunal. Attorney General Conrad Morris becomes Eriald’s defense attorney, and seeks out Eriald’s former comrades to prove his innocence.
